But reports are that a Kazakhstani chicken in a village has laid an egg with the word "Allah" inscribed on its shell, according to state media agency, Kazinform.
"Our mosque confirmed that it says 'Allah' in Arabic," stated Amantayeva, a farmer from the village of Stepnoi in eastern Kazakhstan, telling Kazinform.
"We'll keep this egg and we don't think it'll go bad."
According to Kazinform news agency, “the egg was laid just after a powerful hail storm hit the village.” Kazakhstan is a sparsely populated Central Asian state, where Islam is the dominant religion.
