World War II Easter Eggs
A bandaged world, battered and covered in plasters, is balanced on a finger.
A label is stuck in it by a pin : "Chins up and keep smiling !". Read on a large bandage "The war-torn old world !"

When the war turns in favour of the allies...
A large rooster, chest thrust out, leaps in the air.
The rooster is labelled "Allied Nations" and is over an egg labelled "All round improvement in war".
A satisfied man with a basket says "Not a victory egg yet, but much better !"

The Humpty Dumpty hot air balloon

The Humpty Dumpty hot air balloon:
Humpty Dumpty, a warm, lovable, almost huggable hot air balloon, was created by Susan and Brian Owen along with Lindstrand Balloons. Humpty was born on September 12, 1995, in Bristle, England, and British registered G-EGGG. He was then shipped to the Owens and US registered M912HD, reflecting his birth date.
Humpty is based on a Lindstrand 90,000 cubic foot design. With his arms and legs he holds 104,500 cubic feet of air, and the envelope weights 286 lbs. (120kg.) When inflated he is over 7 stories of love and fun! Humpty's basket holds 45 gallons of propane fuel in three stainless steel tanks, and three passengers can fly with the pilot. Humpty can lift a maximum weight of 1600 lbs. (727 kg.), and the average temperature in the top of the envelope during flight is 210 degrees Fahrenheit.
In April of 1998, Humpty was adopted by Rich and Pat Lawhorn and now has 2 Sisters, Nikki and Lindsey. Humpty is usually flown by Rich, who is also and airline pilot. Rich has over 15,000 hours in aircraft flying around the world.
Humpty and the Lawhorns welcomed the Millennium in Melborne, Australia taking part in an event sponsored by the state of South Australia. Springtime of 2000 found Rich and Humpty flying over the sheep shearing capital of the world Masterton, New Zealand. Rich and Humpty were so enthused with the sheep that in August of 2001, they flew in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region of the People's Republic of China, where they were the top scoring special shape balloon. They left their prize, a live sheep to the local orphanage. These adventures are part of Rich's greater goal to fly on all seven continents as a hot air balloon pilot.

The Hollow Chocolate Bunnies of the Apocalypse
The Hollow Chocolate Bunnies of the Apocalypse, by Robert Rankin:
Jack is all set to discover the city beyond his small town. He meets a farmer on his way who warns him against going to the city. Jack however turns a deaf ear and continues his journey. The farmer tries to kill him for his meal, but Jack eventually escapes with his horse, leaving the hungry farmer in the pit. When he reaches the city he realises that it is populated by toys. He meets a wooden chef at a bar and realises his horse has been stolen. Jack sets to search for his horse, however he is hit by someone unknown and he faints on the ground. He is awoken by a teddy bear, Eddie, who is a private detective and the assistant of Bill Winkie (Wee Willie Winkie). Eddie offers Jack partnership in his detective firm, as Bill Winkie is missing. Jack is still shaken by the fact that toys can actually talk and walk and feel like humans, but eventually he comes on terms with it. Eddie informs him that something is wrong in ToyCity - someone is killing the rich and famous PPPs. Preadoloscent Poetic Personalities. These PPPs have become rich due to the royalities they receive for their poems, like Humpty Dumpty, Little Miss Muffet, Mary Mary Quite Contrary and Old King Cole. While on their quest to find the murderer, several PPPs are killed. Humpty Dumpty is boiled with a lens above his pool, Little Boy Blue is pierced with his crook, Bill Winkie is killed, Jack Spratt is fried in his ex-wife's diner, Little Tommy Tucker explodes, Little Jack Horner is stuffed with Jam and Mother Goose is slit open. In all the cases the only clues are hollow chocolate bunnies left at the scene. In their investigation, Eddie and Jack realise that the killer is an evil twin of God like figure 'Anders Anders' and is called 'Sredna Sredna'. He is the one who had absconded with 'The Manual' (Holy Scripts) and 'The Maguffin', which lets the person get entry into the Toy City. When Jack is confronted by the killer, Sredna reveals that he manufactures life-like toys who do as their owners command. He plans to rule the world, as he feels that God is too busy creating new worlds and has forgotten this one. He has created toys of Hitler and the President of the USA in order to achieve these aims. Sredna almost kills Eddie and Jack. However, they are saved by Jack's lover, Jill. In the end Jack is made a prince and paid a hefty sum by the royal PPPs and Eddie is made the Mayor by Anders Anders.
